Single ladies interdenominational fellowship was started after Rev. Elizabeth Wahome got married to Brother Joseph Wahome after staying single for thirty eight (38) years.

She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour in 1982 when she was already a single mother. During her life as a single mother, she went through many difficulties as she raised her daughter single-handedly and faced many challenges as a single mother and as she continued to defend her new found faith in Jesus Christ.

She later got married...

In 1990 God brought Brother Joseph Wahome into her life and wedded on 15th February, 1990. They started their marriage life very humbly and very poor. Through trusting God for every need, they got lifted from Glory to another.

Life became so good such that Sister Elizabeth asked God to give her the persons He would like her to share all this joy with.

After some time the Lord told her to remember when she was a single mother and what she went through. She told God that she needed love and encouragement. She needed to be a blessing unto the single mothers, the spinsters, windowed, separated and the divorced. The burden for singles grew and she had to start a fellowship for the singles. She shared this vision with her dear husband and some close believers who encouraged her. She called the first meeting which was on 30/03/2003. The attendance was so overwhelming that she arranged for a follow-up meeting the following month and the number increased. It is from here that it was agreed that there will be having monthly meetings and a hall was sourced for this purpose in the City Centre of Nairobi, Kenya.
